What causes a clicking noise under the dash?

Parked up this morning and left the car idling to cool down while I got screenwash to fill up washer bottle. Opened the bonnet and I swear I can hear a louder than normal clicking/knocking noise.

That small valve on the right under the inlet manifold makes that noise, I changed mine and it did get bit quieter, can't remember off the top of my head what it's called though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I think I have found the problem just seen a video on youtube EVAP N80 valve noise when failed sounds like are engine mate
