Check the fluid level in the resevoir. If it is low then top it up. However, it went low for a reason - maybe it's just because your brake pads starting to wear out or you could possibly have a brake fluid leak. If your in any doubt have a pro check it out.

OK, its flashing for a reason or reasons. It may be as simple as the fluid level in the brake master cylinder reservoir is a bit low, in this case top up with clean fresh brake fluid to the upper level. Or its saying the brake pads are worn down. Or there is an ABS sensor at one or more wheels showing a fault.
