Did Colt de Pan have sand dunes?
Colt never went down that path and he achieved the best possible result here in that he produced a course that would be a delight to play every day. De Pan doesn’t have the topography of St. George’s Hill but it does have sand dunes sprinkled throughout the property. A master router, Colt incorporated them in every possible manner. (New)

Walton Heath New - maybe it suffers for being the second sibling but the only aspect it lacks in comparison with the tremendous Walton Old is length (even though the New has sufficient length). You basically get a more playable and more attractive version of the Old so it should be ranked higher.
