Recently I've been playing golf with a group of guys who all have new drivers (M4s, Callaway Epics, etc.), whereas I play a Tommy Armour 845 VT driver (10 years old) with a 10.5 degree loft and a regular flex that I got at a thrift store for $1.50. My swing speed with a driver is around 108 MPH, so I know the specs on the driver are off for me.

SUPERG

Any of the M1/M2 from 2016 or 17 can be had for super cheap, hell some may even be tour issued. Same goes for Epic, F8, 915 or 917. All under 2 bills mostly with a decent or stock shaft. just search it on ebay, callaway preowned, globalgolf, 2ndswing, bst on here.

For some reason the Rogues have not held good value at all so you can find them for $50-100 cheaper than a comparable Epic. Cobra also doesn't hold value well because of the lower demand (despite them being the best big-stick bang for your buck in all of golf) so you can find a 2 model old club for $100 or less.

I picked up a epic sz on ebay for like $110, then sold the shaft for $40 and slapped in a smoke black I purchased for $80. It's just as hot as my last all time favorite 2016 M2, but it's much more forgiving and it also sounds/feels better. I don't plan to take it out of the bag until it breaks.

Frisco Kid

No need to buy used. I got my M4 driver new on EBay for less than $150. There are a number of Titleist, Cobra and TaylorMade drivers under $200 new from a seller that is pretty well known on the forum, ksouth9. I’ve bought a ton of gear from them and they’re legit authentic.

Chadwickog

Don’t sleep on the TEE drivers, either ex9,ex10 or exs all can be had under $200 and often under $100. Currently playing an ex9 tour thats a forgiving bomber.
