But true. Great layout and framed beautifully . The Practice facilities were great , there is absolutely Nothing to dislike about this course. The Cart paths run low to the water line so you have to keep your head up for Crocodiles. Other than that it is a great day of golf. The Fairway are so pristine you can putt from 20 yards off the green. The Pro’s are so spoiled with course conditions. The Mayakoba Classic comes up in November.

All in all, there really isn't another course between Cancun and Riviera Maya that comes close to Mayakoba, especially when you stay at one of the resorts. Why did the golf driver change clubs 3 times?

He had to change clubs 3 times because they kept giving him some with regular shafts and others with stiff shafts. The clubs themselves were VERY worn out, the driver nearly unusable. Some of the staff was friendly, but most was not. We are staying offsite and I had to ask where to go to call the taxi and the woman at the desk pointed and was generally just rude and unhelpful. She did walk me part of the way and after that I was on my own to figure out what to do. We've played at many beautiful and historic courses including Pebble Beach, Arcadia Bluffs and The Plantation in Kapalua and to us, this course is just not even close to the same caliber.
