Rising shot bounced off flag and didn't go in
I've played over 9,000 holes but it's the first time I've seen this. My rising shot rose up the flag stick, bounced off the flag, and landed a couple feet from the cup. Ever seen this happen? So frustrating!

My friend and I just bought the game but couldn't play together yesterday because an error kept popping saying "could not join session." Are friend sessions still supposed to work? Any known solution? Is our level the issue? Tried restarting. 99% sure we're doing it right but the error message comes up.
