We’ve got three ways to use the aim L10. Standard – aim at whatever target you like. The most simple function. Use this for trees, bunkers, random spots in the middle of the fairway. Scan – for when you need distances for multiple targets. Pin – for when you’ve got multiple objects in line.

Negatives

There is nothing much to say as negative about Golfbuddy Aim L10, yet we got some review that is against this beautiful piece of machinery.

Bottom Line

The Laser Rangefinder is one of the leading golf technologies and products available to purchase for amateur and experienced golfers before reaching your favorite golf course or range. While it does not look or feel significant, it is extremely easy to hold and use and has all the different modes that a rangefinder really can need.

GolfBuddy aim L10 Laser Rangefinder

The new GolfBuddy aim L10 Laser Rangefinder offers players a simple to use and highly accurate solution to finding yardage on the golf course. While it may look small, tons of technology and innovation are packed into it.

Features

GolfBuddy has been in the handheld laser game for a long time, and made some nice additions to the aim L10. First off, it’s a little sportier and a just plain “fits” in your hand more comfortably than some of the older models. It weighs less than 6oz, will magnify up to 6x, and can hit targets up to 880 yards out.

Out of the Box

First off, when you’re buying a new electronic doo-dad, what it looks like in the box matters! There’s a ton of consumer products that are, frankly, cheaply made. Not the GolfBuddy aim L10. It comes in a sharp, neat little box. You get your basic manual and the carrying case. It’s bomb proof.

On-Course Performance

The most important two things that I look for in a golf accessory is 1) how easy it is to use, and 2) how accurate it is. What I really like in the aim L10 is that its features are simplified into two buttons. You can zip through the three modes with the aptly named MODE button and then “hit the target” with the POWER button.

Final Thoughts

As the GolfBuddy folks say, “Accuracy Matters.” I’ve been able to take the aim L10 on course and on range a number of times this year. Often, I’ll bring along my trusty GPS unit just to see if there are any discrepancies. I’m seeing next to none.

What is the aim L10V?

The aim L10V combines the most advanced GolfBuddy laser rangefinder technology with unmatched simplicity of use . The unique audio option in the L10V gives spoken confirmation of distances, providing extra confidence and ease of use to the golfer.

How much magnification does a golf buddy laser have?

The laser boasts 6x magnification, making it easier to pick out small targets such as a flag or small tree from long distance, and there is a larger LCD screen than in previous GolfBuddy models for clear readings.

What is the voice function on a golf club?

Obviously the main feature of the device is the Voice function, which acts by calling out the yardage that is measured once you lock onto your target in the viewfinder. The idea of this is to ensure that golfers are fully confident of the yardage that they just measured, reaffirming the number in their head as they select their club and execute a shot.

How easy is the L10V?

The first thing I would say about the L10V is just how easy it is to use. It fits so comfortably in the palm, which allows you to zap yardages with one hand. The on-screen display is also clear and easy to understand.

How far away is the L10V laser?

GolfBuddy says that the laser is accurate to within 1 yard up to 880 yards away, if you ever happen to stray that far offline!

How many buttons does GolfBuddy have?

The device is essentially made up of 4 simple buttons which allow you to switch between each mode. The main red button is what you use to confirm your target and receive the yardage, whilst selecting the 'Mode' button switches you between GolfBuddy's three targeting modes.

Can the L10V pick up pins?

I think that you can probably attribute some of this to the fact that the device was so lightweight that it was easy to hold still. Throughout the round the L10V was able to pick up most pins without incident, with the only real issues coming when there were trees grouped behind the green which required a little more care to ensure of the correct measurement.

What is the aim L10V?
