On the topic of lead tape placement, does anyone know how the pros are able to apply the tape to their irons so that it looks like it's almost melted into the club?

Lead isn't that hard, no melting is required (nor thin tape - although that can help a little). They just use pressure to rub the tape into the shape they want and blend the layers together. The round, butt end of a screw driver can work well for that - or anything similar.

Not a lot of info on the website, but this is the stuff I was looking at. http://www.golfgalaxy.com/Golfworks-HD-Lead-Tape/SP11GLFWRKHDLDTP/Product But if it's 1g per 2" I don't think it's going to work. I wanted to add 10-15 grams and that's a lot of tape!

You can get a heavier shaft to increase sw...or if you just want more overall weight, you can counterweight it... I put lead tape on the bottom of my Corza ghost and put 100gm counterweight in the grip and I love the feel. You can get them at golfworks.

I've got a fair number of putters but most are flow neck blades in the 340g area. Picked up a used Cleveland #2 on the cheap with a 350g head and i really like the look and feel. I seem to putt much better with it. I just wanted to increase the head weight to see if a 360-370 gram head helps more.
