Connect your display to the power supply control unit and start your car to test functionality. Once you have connected your included hose kit to an appropriate boost tap, feed the hose through a grommet in the fire wall as shown. Connect the vacuum line to the boost port and secure with a zip tie. Now you are ready to enjoy your P3 Boost Gauge.
What wires do I need to connect to my gauge?
Only the OBD2 connection is required for gauge function, all other wires are optional. We suggest connecting the gauge to your OBD2 port and starting your engine to check functionality before installation. See your QUICK START GUIDE in the box for details.
How to tell if gauge is on or off?
If the gauge sees more than 5 volts on the green wire, it dims the display, if it does not see voltage on the green wire, it leaves the display bright. 2- You will see either "d.On" , "d.On.A" , "d.On.P" or "d.Off".

How do you tune a N55 MAP sensor?
For tuned vehicles, we recommend the MAP sensor TAP method. N20 and N55 engines both have MAP sensors. If using a piggyback tune, tap the 0-5v output of the MAP sensor and run to the BLUE wire, and then choose bSt.P N20 and N55 engines both have MAP sensors.

Is P3 gauge accurate?
Yes it does, but it's translates it based on a scaled map into PSI. That scale needs to be calibrated to your specific MAP sensor. Read through the calibration process on P3Cars.com, it takes less than 60sec to complete and you will see different/more accurate readings. Awesome!
