What is the game of golf?
Golf is a solitaire game in which players are trying to remove as many cards as possible from the tableau . A tableau is the arrangement of cards out on the table or playing space. Much like the real golf, this game can be played over multiple holes (rounds) with the player trying to score as few points as possible.

Layout
The tableau consists of five columns of seven cards. All cards are dealt face-up, as in the illustration below.
Aim
The aim of the game is to play all of the cards from the tableau on to the foundation pile.
Gameplay
The first step of play is to start a new "round". To do so, double-tap the stock pile. The top card will be moved on to the foundation. The remainder of this "round" now consists of trying to follow this initial card with further cards from the tableau.
Odds of winning
To win a game of Golf solitaire requires a large amount of luck in addition to a little strategic playing. If you play wisely, you can expect to win in the order of 1% of games .

The goal of Golf Solitaire is to clear all of the cards from the rows. The tableau in Golf Solitaire consists of 35 cards, dealt in seven rows facing up. Each row contains five cards, with the top card highlighted and in play. Cards are moved to the discard pile, which is found at the bottom of the game screen.
How to play Golf Solitaire
To begin play, turn over the first card in the hand below the tableau. This is the discard pile where cards will be matched and removed from the tableau. Cards are removed by clicking on a card that has a value or one greater or one less than the card at the top of the waste pile.
