Boondockers Welcome Hosts are not paid. Currently, hosts do receive half off the one-year membership, plus they receive guest privilege credits each time someone stays at their camp spot. How long can you stay at Boondockers Welcome?

Guests are restricted to a maximum of 5 nights in a 90-day window with the same host, for insurance purposes. This can be one 5-night stay, if the host offers that many nights, or several shorter stays. Each Host has their own rules about generators.

What are some other activities that can be done at a golf course?

Several golf courses also offer alternative activities such as tennis, disc golf, foot golf, and more. No matter how you spend your time at the golf course, you can expect to be treated to beautiful views upon waking.

Do harvest hosts have fenced in properties?

Occasionally, Hosts have fenced-in properties that are locked at night, so always update your Host if your ETA is later than originally planned. There are very few Harvest Hosts that offer partial hookups for an additional cost. Always plan to dry camp unless otherwise stated by the specific Host.

Can you make reservations at a golf course?

After finding your perfect Host location, whether it be a winery or golf course, you must call to make reservations. Some locations only have a select number of parking spaces available, or occasionally host events which take up additional parking. Be sure to confirm the parking location and the time you plan to arrive. If you’re planning to play a round of golf, be sure to book a tee time either on the phone or online to coincide with your stay.

University of Montana Golf

The first location we tried was the University of Montana Golf Course ( www.umt.edu… ). This was a very nice course with reasonable greens fees and a very good American bistro called The Iron Griz ( www.irongriz.com… ).

Eaglerock Golf Course

The second course we visited (also in Montana) was Eagle Rock Golf Course ( www.eaglerockgolfcourse.com… ). This course also has a restaurant and bar. However, it was closed by the time we arrived, which was around 6 or 7pm. Since we were too late for golf and the restaurant was closed, we spent some money in the pro shop to show our appreciation.

Membership cards can be printed from the member dashboard on the website or accessed directly on the Harvest Hosts App . You can also take a picture or screenshot of the membership card on your mobile device.

How long can you stay at Harvest Hosts?

Harvest Hosts is set up as an overnight program with stays of a maximum of 24 hours. At your Host’s discretion, he/she may invite you to stay an additional night but we discourage multiple night stays as to not “wear out our welcome.”. Please do not ask if you can stay additional nights.
