My opinion with the golf, is that there are too many "modes" to flick through as it is. DCC adds to this complication as it adds yet another option to your setup.

Good luck. When I was buying my Estate, DCC reduced my suitable choices to one. Sadly both the dealer and I knew this, which made negotiations harder than they would have been, but I don't regret it.

My car lives in comfort and somewhere on this site it said that Top Gear (Stig) tested the three modes and the quickest round the track by some degree was comfort. No need to try anything else.

I'm almost sure that's true, but I prefer the less 'floaty' feel of normal.

To be honest I hardly notice any difference in the suspension between comfort and other modes, if I bought another car and it didn't have it I wouldn't be worried.

My car's DCC was set in Race mode by the dealership when I collected her and hasn't been moved .

Mines a 16, and you could option sunroof and/or driver assistance pack which has ACC, AEB, blind spot and rear cross traffic alert.
