Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed 27 holes at the Lake Shastina Golf Resort in 1973 in the shadow of Mount Shasta. Mt Shasta reigns throughout the course. We had clear pristine skies with poofs of steam halo ing the mountain. Course was well kept. The sand traps however were dense with little give, the greens were fast, typical to end of summer dry course conditions
