I just started keeping an official GHIN handicap a couple of months ago. At first, I was posting scores on the system in our clubhouse.

The other responses are spot on. When you enter your scores, what matters is getting the correct date for each round, and the correct course rating and slope.

It is probably OK to do it this way but.... It could be a problem if your club has written rules/procedures for posting scores that say something like, "scores played at the home course must be posted immediately after play on the pro shop (or course owned) computer." Why would they have a rule like this? For peer review purposes.

The revisions happen at just after midnight on the revision date. So scores from before that date must be in the system to be included in the update. For instance, if revisions are done on the 1st and 15th of the month, a score from the 14th needs to be posted in the system that day to make the revision on the following day.
