The basic rule for DraftKings is you need to have six players who make the cut to have a chance to make the money. Otherwise, you're losing out on 36 holes of potential points and the bonus points based on a player's finish (they earn no bonus for missing the cut).

You will hear these buzzwords often in DFS golf, and it is sort of akin to the “BvP” debate in baseball. Golf is very much a mental game, so current form is a factor you need to consider. If a guy has put up a top ten finish in three straight tournaments, he’s probably got something good working for him. Conversely, if a guy has missed five straight cuts, he’s probably trying to work things out. That is the “current form” part of the debate, and most people agree that it is important. To play you have to draft your team of eight golfers with a $60,000 salary cap. The highest priced golfer is somewhere around $10,700 and the lowest priced golfer is somewhere around $4500. Remember, you are drafting two sets of four golfers. One set for the first two rounds and one set for the last two rounds.

The top 30 in the FedExCup standings following the BMW Championship will advance to the TOUR Championship, where the final leaderboard will represent the final FedExCup standings for the top 30 players. Stroke play will be used to determine the champion of the PGA TOUR’s season-long points race.
Payout
First place in the FedExCup is $15 million. The runner-up will earn $5 million. Every player who makes it to East Lake will earn at least $395,000. Eight players will earn at least $1 million in FedExCup bonus money.
