Years ago there was a company called "Pop-up-Protector" that sold invisible tape that protects the top of clubs from skymarks. A search on the web states that the use of the tape (and only their protection tape ) was legal for tournament play (U.S.G.A. conforming). However, the most recent article on the subject was back in 2009.
