About

Although it is situated amongst a residential area, Encanterra Country Club's golf course has a "core" design that works inwards so that there are no homes or other obstructions that can serve as distractions on the course.

Available Activities

Played course twice and loved it, great layout, lots of bunkers and lots of water, greens really nice, pin placement was very good and tricky, fortunate enough to play it. Pace was great and lucky enough to play it on great weather.

What is the Encanterra course?

The course boasts an all-too-rare core style layout, set with panoramic views of the Superstition and San Tan mountains. The core layout feels away from distractions, and, proudly, easily accommodates those looking to walk instead of ride. In this way, a heightened golf experience becomes the sole focus. Though its multiple tees and generous fairways make it accessible to Members of all skill levels, Encanterra’s golf course is more than capable of challenging the game’s best players. To score well requires careful evaluation of risk, club selection, and using the nuances of each hole to your advantage. Because of its exceptional conditioning and classically nuanced design, Encanterra has hosted some of the Valley’s premier golf events, including The Gateway Tour’s Tour Championship, The Thunderbirds Classic for the Junior Golf Association of Arizona, and US Open Sectional Qualifying.

Is a membership fee refundable?

Fortunately, Club membership here is a straightforward affair. Membership initiation fees are partially refundable, and dues include access to all Club amenities (including golf in the case of golf memberships). All memberships are right-to-use (that means no member assessments), and there are no food minimums and very reasonable locker fees if you choose to store equipment. See? It’s simple.
