Where is the I-77 golf course?
We stopped on the way up I-77 from a trip in the south. This course is set just in Virginia in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and it is a very beautiful course. But, it is also very tough. It is particularly nasty in spots if you have no previous course knowledge, especially on #9 (be sure you are on or over the green...my playing partner and I combined for 11 strokes to get on and stay on the green from within 70 yards). Despite the beating I took, though, the course was pleasing to behold, especially the front where most holes are secluded.

About Olde Mill Resort
Olde Mill Resort is located in Laurel Fork, Virginia and is home to a Dan and Ellis Maples-designed 18-hole golf course. There are a handful of cabins and a 3-bedroom lodge onsite for overnight guests on stay-and-play packages. Maples Restaurant and tennis is also available to members and guests of the club.
