Got my pacemaker on the first
Here I was all excited about playing golf in six weeks and the Dr. said 4 months. I'm sure he padded that a little to save face. I don't feel the PM at all and if I didn't have gout in the wrist on the same side I would be a new man,. They set me at 60 to 130 pulse and I feel better already as I was in the 40s and 30s and high 20s at night.

Just got mine on April19th. doc. said I could probably play by Memorial day. Will be practicing my chipping right handed.I am afraid already about first swing. Had open heart in June of 97 they told me I could start chipping around September. I wa on the course playing July 11th . I hope all goes the same this time.

Lead stretch
I only had mine fitted last week and I was concerned that I couldn't play golf again - the jury is still out for a while - reason - if you right handed and therefore had the pacer put in left below collar bone they don't like your left elbow above normal shoulder height as the action could displace leads if they tightened them on with no slack .

I was the very surprised recipient of a pacemaker on Monday. They tell me I won't be swinging a golf club for 6 weeks or so (bummer as I broke 90 for the first time a couple of weeks ago).

Thank you, @Greg 504. Mine's a dual lead implant. Glad to hear I'll be back to duffing again before too long. Lost part of this year to Covid and now another part to this thing so I may be golfing more in the rain this year. Thanks again.
