I've struggled with the Golf Galaxy solvent as well. One time in a moment of desperation, I grabbed a can of WD-40 sprayed it on the club and haven't looked back since. It works GREAT and seems to dry relatively fast (within 2 hr), I'm done purchasing poor quality grip solvent.
