I would wait until you need to make a decision. Your circumstances may have changed. I never want to own a car. I recycle every 1-2 years with a new car. Who wants to own a 6-7 year old car with 126k miles on it???

simpleR

Mine had done 32k when it went back (i wonder who has it now) and was starting to feel very tired when compared to the new one. I personally don't fancy owning one past 60k or about 4 years based on my mileage hence why I took 4 years warranty and will be getting rid before then.

Jays6R

Not that I would condone such behaviour but you could always rewind the clocks...

Cogito

My MK6 R logged 35K miles in three years and was running strong when I traded it for the MK7 R. Dealer gave me top US book value - I look after my cars. Could have tried to sell it privately for more, but who has the time and patience? I wanted to be driving the MK7's MQB chassis and am not disappointed.
