I'm thinking 5-7yrds carry through the bag, just comparing lasered yardages on the range and course. For instance, I hit my PW 115-120 during rounds, but I'm unable to put it on a target at 115 on the range, just comes up a couple of yards short. Our range has alot of good, new TM rangeballs.

A lot of range balls are simple solid one-peice jobs - as a result they're often made relatively soft so that they don't feel harsh... Means they compress more and don't fly as far.

The range where i used to go had Pinnacle range balls that flew close to as long as real ball but were hard as a rock and barely spun at all. The range switched to shorter flight Srixon balls because a few douchebag LDers would hit the Pinnacle balls straight over the road (only about a 260 carry) instead of hitting from one corner to the other (probbably 350 yds).

How much more distance do you get out of your golf ball vs. a range ball?

I hit many range balls, including those can float on water. Do you experts here know how far those balls go comparing tour balls like proV1 X? I found the floaters exaggerate all spins, start fast but don't go far. If I hit normal range balls with driver at 250 yrs, how far would I hit the floaters and proV1 X?

Realistically, it is really hard to say. It all depends on the brand of range ball (titleist range compared to srixon/top flite) but I would add about 10yards to be conservative.

I go to a range a lot that is water filled, and you hit at islands with floaty balls. Those balls I'm told go 10-15% less than a standard ball. Again, good for swing work, but don't count on it for distance accuracy

I like the posts above with a percentage lost rather than distance lost. You'll lose much more distance when hitting a driver or long iron than you will with a wedge. I see practically no distance loss with my wedges (a yard or two maybe, ~0%) ...but more like ~25 yards lost on my driver (~10%).

It also will vary according to the spin characteristics of your ball and the range ball. In my experience, I have fount that on the wedges the ball will spin less than with a proV1x and go a little farther, but the ball will spin a little more on the driver due to the build as well, and this will most likely shorten drives.
