Now that greens on golf courses are progressively becoming faster, distance and direction are becoming more of a factor in club design. Heavier heads provide help in both aspects. shipping a 355g Kombi S but just realized that my scale isn't calibrating correctly. Any rough idea on what a putter weighs to ship?

Thaddy

As an example, I have two putters being shipped to me in the same box and UPS has the weight at 3.9 pounds.

Breaker999

I input 3 lbs when shipping UPS or Fedex b/c they'll add or subtract cost based on the actual weight. For USPS I input 4 lbs b/c the post office will hold the parcel if postage is insufficient.

Any more than 3 lb, and you are doing something wrong. Also try to use as short a box as possible, or you will get hit on "dimensional weight". The 38x6x6 box works well. Anything over 42" long is wasting money.

Looking at about $10 for shipping via USPS +- a few bucks depending on additional stuff like tracking, insurance, etc...
