I looked at the new putter shape you have-While better than the old one it is still not attractive to me. And physics do not lie....... angle. Ha ha ha.

I just got a set of Mizuno mp-14's, they are in ok shape but could be better. My question is where is the cheapest place to get them refinished and regrooved? Now I have read tons of posts on here by guys who get all this amazing work done by different people, but I am purely looking at cost.

jaskanski

By far the cheapest option is to buy a used set. It takes the need to pull the heads out of the equation and would cost considerably less than getting a set of irons refinished.

The iron factory www.theironfactory.com - probably the best finish you will get is $36 for re-chrome and groove - can be a bit slow but great work. I've used restoration golf - www.restorationgolf.com - before and they do good work - a little pricier than the iron factory. Golf works and golfsmith also do them...look at their sites for pricing. i know there are a number of other places to have this done, but these are the ones I have experience with. you can easily pull the heads - so don't pay to have that done...will have to pay to reassemble unless you do it yourself. just to ad that I understand your concern for price but consider anybody in the business of refinishing clubs really isn't going to have a substandard option for you as that would be a little ridiculous.

I just bought a used set that is what I am looking to get refinished. I payed 75$ on craigs list. "I just got a set of Mizuno mp-14's, they are in ok shape but could be better." Its not life or death to get them refinished. I was just trying to see if it could get it done cheap. If not I can live with it for another year.

I'm not sure how buying a used set off of eBay is going to equate to getting a better looking set that he already has, but maybe I'm missing something. Search on here for a refinisher... I think the name is K&J, and they're in Ohio. There's also "The Iron Factory", and of course BOS. I think K&J is pretty reasonable if you send in heads only...

Antioch is a decent sized community, isn't it? Step one, spend twenty bucks and buy a good regroove tool and do this work yourselt, all it costs you is time.
