Just out of curiosity, how much weight do you walkers lug around during a typical round. I have been carrying a stand bag for years but I've noticed bringing extra water (due to courses not putting any out during Covid) has tired me out more than I would have expected.

I've carried 7 clubs a couple of times recently with very little in the bag. Just 3 or 4 balls, a few tees, a couple snacks, and a few water bottles. Feels like I'm carrying nothing, highly recommend giving it a try. Also forces you to work on distance control and shaping the ball when you don't have the right club for a full stock shot.

Yes, my extra 32oz Nalgene full of water is an unwelcome addition. There's really not much I can take out to offset the weight, though. Typically I have my water, 3 sleeves of balls, a handful of tees, and a couple of towels. Was considering going to a lighter bag, but the ultralight bags just aren't very confidence inspiring.

Light usually, leave a bunch of clubs in the car and no water and only play 3-9 holes A day in the summer.

23 lbs with half a Nalgene bottle. A full water bottle or two and the couple beers I like to bring onto the course don't do me any favors.

22.8 lbs here with no water. The depressing part was getting on the scale without the bag to get a base weight.
