IMO, that's pretty expensive. I think of everything in terms of hourly pricing.......let's be very conservative and assume 2 hours labor to do the job (No way it takes 2 hours) and he isn't paying retail for the shafts. So $80 an hour......$50 an hour would be fair but $80 an hour is high imo.

I go to GG. I got to know the Main Club builder of that specific GG and spoke to him about his golf History. He has been doing this for over 25 years. I have taken MANY Clubs there to get Repaired/Shafted/Re-Gripped. He has done a TOP Notch Job every time. He has even done Rush work for me.

Normally it's $15-$25/club plus cost of grip and shaft. The more reputable the clubmaker the higher price. Reshafting is not worth it unless you have rare heads thatcare hard to replace. Otherwise buy a used set with the shafts/heads you want and sell you current set.

I've always thought the cost of both reshafting and regripping clubs was too much for what it actually does. That being said, it's mostly the same everywhere, so unless you're doing it yourself, you're stuck paying. I plan on figuring out how to do it myself sooner or later.
