OK, I know one response will be regarding changing shaft stiffness and/or swing weight changes, but on my 4 hybrid and 5-/7-woods, I kill the ball repeatedly, consistently when I choke down to almost the bottom of the grips, which has me thinking, why not just cut down the shaft (yea, ~3 inches at least) and simply grip normally? I mean, the comparison of shot making with holding the grip normal vs choking down is night and day.
