Anyone who has experience with removing grips and old tape from 8 or more shafts in one sitting will tell you that $2-$3 per grip is reasonable. I use a heat gun for old tape and most of the time it isn't too much trouble, and its more time consuming than anything. But sometimes its just a huge pain in the a$$.
