Steel shafts? Other than a swingweight scale the cost is pretty minimal. Do you have a vice? Propane or butane torch? If so, all you really need is a pipe cutter, 48" ruler, sandpaper, epoxy, ferrules, shaft holder for vice, grips and grip tape and some solvent. Steel shaft reshafting is very easy, just do a quick search.

Ok, so thinking of getting: 1) Ruler; 2) Swing Weight Scale; 3) Torch; 4) Grip Tape/Epoxy; 5) Ferrules. Is a Vice necessary? Can you install the shafts and grips without the shaft being in a vice? Any simple torch at home depot will work? Will acetone remove the cured epoxity on the shaft pulls - or is heat/sanding necessary?
