I always used to track this on my scorecard before it was available on the GHIN app, so I am sure once I get out and play this year that I will take advantage of the option to track/store my stats electronically and reference them after the fact.

Bonvivant

Makes sense that it should auto calculate GIR. I have not used the GHIN app yet, as the course that had the men's association that I planned on joining closed, but I've never really heard good things about it. Just a score, putt, and FW checkbox should get all the traditional stats and it seems silly that they wouldn't figure that out.

bkuehn1952

I have kept stats for a long time elsewhere so I won' be using this GHIN feature.

Darkfrog

Right now I use my shotscope watch for stat stuff, keep score on paper because I don’t trust the shot detection 100% (it always errs toward the lower score), and only enter a score when reporting rounds.

chilepepper

My gps app does all that . I manually enter as I score each hole. I’m not really interested in entering that info again for GHIN tracking
