look above the clutch cable the is a rubber boot, abot 8-10 inches long. If u notice on either end of this boot are rubber prongs, or ears or whatever u wanna call em. Compress the cable by hand trying to bring these rubber ears as close to each other as possible.

No FREE manual site. Some sites have drawings for electric wiring but nothing on the engines. Some dealer sites may be willing to help if you are going to buy parts from them. I have service manuals for all carts, but I am a dealer and they will not let me post as an ad.

Your batteries have died. The reason it will barely move in reverse is that current is being supplied to the motor is a direction that it spends very little time using. There is a slight change in the armature over time, and reverse tends to work better over time. Check the voltage when under load.
