What is the book The Golfing Machine by Homer?
Homer's book "THE GOLFING MACHINE" is subtitled "The Computer Age Approach to Golfing Perfection." It is a very detailed, precise and scientifically accurate golf textbook, a veritable encyclopedia of the golf swing, written in engineering language with complex ideas and explanations involving physics, geometry and math. Very few average golfers want all that complex information.

This was a colossal effort by a man to categorize the different components of the golf swing. There are some very good insights in it. However there are inaccuracies in the science due to this being written in the era before high speed cameras were widespread not to mention the doppler radar based ball tracking systems like Trackman.
