Double straps is nice for longer walks as others have said. A good double strap that also works well as a single is my preference. I'm a Sun Mtn fan and the straps work well as single for shorter walks

That's all I carry. Single strap bags - I have a few on rotation, (Mackenzie, Eliott, Nike, Jones) that I use about 95% of the time. I found that I was fresher and end of rounds when I walked with a single strap than when I carried a more traditional bag (SM 3.5, 4.5 etc.).

FairwayFred

I'm also in the single strap camp. I carry all the time and am not a big fan of the double strap.
