I have one on my desk and can get it in 3-4 tries. Here's the secret.... Instead of bouncing it against the bottom and hoping to land on the tee, use gravity. Hold the globe and raise it straight up in the air a foot or so and stop it quickly. The ball will float up and land on the tee very softly. Think going over a hill on a roller coaster.
