JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT
The Mizuno Golf School Junior Development Programs is a road map to the game of golf – a progressive level model that is designed to progress a young golfer through the game as their skills and abilities to grasp the concepts of the game mature. The program will provide set times for skills development.
ORANGE TEE
Introduction to golf and at the same time making the game a blast. Starting with the short game area these rookies will get an early understanding of all the short game shots and how their bodies, arms and club move to achieve these decent contacts, spins and ball flights. These will then translate into establish solid long game foundations.
RED TEE
It is time to get these juniors ALL to impact. This is the start of developing pure impact for every single player, starting to really focus on power delivery systems using drills and practice routines.
GREEN TEE
The game is now their sport of choice. Juniors will continue strengthening their foundations with our V1 Pro and FlightScope technology and bringing them to play instinctive game and a deeper understanding of mental game with HeartMath and how to practice it. Juniors will also start developing skills for uneven lies of all types.
BLUE TEE
Juniors are now competitive players competing at the highest level in their age groups. By now juniors are the master of their own swings and very good at self analysing. Instructions will continue strengthening the foundations of all areas of the game including the mental game.
BLACK TEE
Continued work on foundations of all areas, not so much about fixing techniques but to help players understand themselves and knowing how to self correct. Higher level mental game instructions creating players' Ideal Performance State (IPS) that assists them to becoming the best thinker in the golf course and in every competition.
