Do upright clubs go left or right?
Upright clubs tend to go more left…. Bending them upright might give a cleaner divot but would make his misses even further to the left. Not a good move as a fitter. Incidentally, when the face is closed, the toe is lower, the lie board was giving him a false impression of his club’s lie angle at impact.

I bought a set of Scratch AR1 TD irons from a member and as you can see from the pictures they were a bit rusted as you would expect from a raw forged head. I personally thought they looked cool and would have left them as is except when I took off the lead tape they looked funny because underneath had not rusted out.
