That's not how Resources.Load works. Everything in the Resources folder, by default, is placed into memory as soon as the game starts. When you call .Load, it's basically doing a dictionary lookup; it doesn't load a new copy of the thing into memory, because that'd be asinine.

Dictionary Lookups are O (1) operations though, so... it's basically free.
