  1. Measure the desired new length of club. With the measuring tape, measure the desired length to be cut off.
  2. Cut the club at the desired length. Using the hack saw, carefully cut the club where you marked it. Be sure keep fingers away from blade for your safety.
  3. Wait 10-15 minutes for shaft to cool off. The metal you just cut will be hot so set it aside for several minutes and allow to cool down.
  4. Sand/dull the end of metal that was just cut. Take the sand paper and carefully smooth the end of the shaft.
