In the UK is an option and costs around £140. As for a VCDS activation, I hope it is, but doubt it.

High beam assist is interesting in that it doesnt just activate high beam. Its as though it only activates on the left lamp so you get a kind of tunnel effect, not blinding drivers coming the other way.. Quite cool.

I didn't say it a no brainers to spec, it's a no brainers cost wise to get from new rather than retro fitting, if you have the choice.
