Oh man I feel your pain. Did the same years ago at a junior golf tourney. Every follow thru hurt really bad so I had no practice swing and just hit the ball and dealt with it. Also lathered on the icy hot and popped some asprin.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I'll definitely switch over to heat tonight. As for stretching it, the thing that concerns me is that what if I stretch it too much to the point where I exacerbate the strain. I'm going to call my doctor this afternoon. If anyone else has any other ideas, please share. Thanks again.

i just went through that. it will hang with you for about a month or two (obviously will be less pain as you go). the only thing you can do for that is icy hot, aleve, and rest as much as possible.

Hey guys. So we're 4 days out from the trip, and the oblique still hurts (it's been two weeks to the day today). I went to physical therapy on Thursday, and I'm going again tomorrow morning before work, but we (our foursome) need to make a decision by the close of business tomorrow.
