I have been lucky in my career that have stayed in postions for 6-8 years at time and the only reason I have left is because of being headhunted away. The only downside is I have to polish up my CV when it has been sitting stale for 6 years at a time.

I would not put a handicap on a CV. That would signal to me that golf is a bit more than just a hobby... Enthusiastic golfer would be fine for me.
hbear
can place it under extracurricular activities. No reason to add handicap....if it's important it'll come out in the interview. If you have won awards/championships, have your class A or something to that effect then by all means add those....otherwise avid golfer is more than enough. Key to resume = short, concise and leaving the reader interested and wanting to know more (hence the interview) Resume = gets you the interview....the resume doesn't get you the job..

I agree with Pompi. I've hired a lot. Putting an 11 hcp on a resume would raise a lot of Qs for me...None good...and I am an avid (yet unskilled) golfer myself.
