- Look for a map in the workshop.
- Subscribe to the maps you like by clicking the green "Subscribe" button.
- Start "Steam" and wait until the maps are fully downloaded.
- Start "GolfIt!" and click on "Host Game".
- As a "Map" choose "Custom Map" (by clicking the left arrow once).

At the time Golf with your friends has yet to release the workshop editor/workshop maps so you are limited to having fun on just the default maps with custom game options. Golf it already has the workshop aspect so you can play a new map everyday basically.

Any suggestions? You can find the downloaded maps from workshop in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\571740". Copy a folder to "C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Local\GolfIt\Saved\SaveGames\CustomMap" and rename it to what the files inside the folder are named.
