I am planning on trading in a couple clubs at Golf Galaxy. The on-line value is about 74-80 dollars, if I send them to them. My question is, will I get the same amount taking them into the store? Or, are they going to give me less? If anyone has any experiences with this, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I should add... if I was only gonna get 35-40 bucks for them, I'd keep them... you can sell them pretty easily on eBay for more than that. Or really, they are just last years model, I'd probably keep them in the bag and not get the new ones, but that's just me.

40-50% of the resale price is pretty high. From what I've seen at Golf Galaxy (hate that place), if they stick a club on the rack for 100 bucks, most likely the trader only got 30 or 40 bucks at best. And I don't know what types of shops you have around you, but chain stores will not negotiate prices, at all.
