My personal drill is to appeal to the natural human instinct - walking, with a tint of Dr Strangelove. At the top of swing with the back facing the target, the lower body goes rogue and tries to walk by itself towards the target with the stomach facing the target. This creates strong wrenching action forcing the torso to turn swinging the arms.
