Anyone had any success coming up with a good golf related experiment? Last year we tested golf ball dimples and how fast they traveled through water for aerodynamics. It was ok, but not all that great. Struggling this year for something. It’s for 6th grade AGP.

My third grader did one on the affect of temperature on the bounce. Kept a group of balls at room temperature, put a group in the freezer and heated a group in boiling water. Dropped the balls from each group, measured the height, and took the average. Pretty easy.

So I bought an old Ping Anser off of eBay for $12 and then purchased a 2 liter bottle of Coke at 7-11. My daughter and I took some photos over the two days it had it's Coke bath and you can see the results below. Pretty cool what some acid can do. This will probably be her 4th grade science experiment this year.
