How long is a Neverwinter sword handle?
Step 1: The Core
to start the sword you need a piece of 2" PVC pipe or graphite. the length of the sword cannot exceed 48 inches. cut it a few inches short so you can leave room for the pommel and tip padding. note: the longer you make it the heaver this is going to be so remember that these battles have lasted for at the most a half an hour.
Step 2
after you've got the right size pipe you take the pool noodle and cut a peace off a little longer than the blade will be. then cut a piece about 4-6 inches long depending on how big your hands are. after that wrap the entire thing in packing or duct tape either one works excellently.
Step 3
Once its well taped you have a choice. 1 make a cloth cover for the sword. 2 cover it in more duct tape and say its done. both work so after your done don a tunic and slay your friends.

N. A sharp pointy metal object. A sword fundamentally consists of a blade, a hilt, and a pommel, typically with one or two edges for striking and cutting, and a point for thrusting.
Definition in Amtgard
In amtgard our swords are "foam padded replicas of the real things". To tell the truth our swords are generally round or "Omni Blades". That look very little like real swords.

An article written by Sir Rand and published in The Star. It was intentionally not submitted to E-Sam and the author asks that it not be cross posted.
Foreword
This article is very much an opinion piece. It is also fairly Texas-centric. I am the first to admit the last time I played in an Inter-Kingdom game there were only five kingdoms, so I cannot tell you what it is like in RW or Neverwinter.
Introduction
The most common statement I hear from new players is the proclamation that they would like to be a Sword Knight and or a Warlord. It goes without saying that the vast majority of these people get frustrated, fade away or lose interest well before they get anywhere near achieving their goal. Amongst stick jocks this scenario is something of a joke.
Taking the Red Pill
Great fighters are not born, they are made, and the first step is deciding that you are willing to pay the price. What price, you ask? Well, you can expect to spend years perfecting your craft. Depending on your natural talent and fitness level, it can take anywhere between three and five years to really hit your stride.
Free Your Mind
Equipment is important, but before I break down the various styles and types of technology I want to spend a few minutes discussing mind states. The greatest hindrances to learning are past experience and personal preference. This is the reason why it is easier for children to learn new languages than it is for adults.
The Tools of the Trade
Don’t let anyone fool you - equipment matters. I don’t care if Clalibus is able to kill half the free world with the same sword he was using eight years ago. You’re not Clalibus and for that matter neither am I.
Conclusions
As you can see, it takes a good deal more than a simple proclamation to make someone a great fighter. Some of those things we have covered in this document, and others are a bit more ethereal than casual discussion allows. For those of you who are serious about becoming a better fighter, I have a few parting words of advice.
How to make a noodle gun?
Place your weapon core next to a piece of noodle. Cut the noodle so that it measures from the tape marking the end of the handle, to at least an inch and a half past the tip of the core. Slide the noodle onto the core, and torque wrap it at the base to the spot where the tape denotes the handle, making sure the core stays at least a half inch from the tip of the noodle. Once the blade has been attached to the core, take the pieces of camp pad from the material list, and cut them to fit the end of the Funnoodle on the tip.
How long is a Neverwinter sword handle?
The rule for sword handles in Neverwinter is 1/3 the length of the overall weapon, measure from end of blade to beginning of pommel. (Does not include pommel). For our example, we’re making a 36-inch sword. Therefore, our handle is allowed to be a maximum of 12 inches. A small piece of grip tape to mark off 12 inches, and we’re ready to add the blade.
