Laces In Or Out?

I just realized that “laces in or out” was the reason for the dolphins losing the super bowl! That is of course in the movie “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective” which is hilarious!

Clean Your Shoes and Laces

This is a crucial step in order for your silicon spray to last a longer time than if you were to not clean your shoes or laces.

Let Them Dry

You need to let them dry, because if you don’t, the silicon spray won’t stick to your golf shoes as well.

Prepare The Shoes For Spray Time

I would recommend you pulling the tongue out and stuffing your shoes with a newspaper. This helps the shoe get completely covered with the silicon spray while not getting inside your shoes.

Place Them On Paper

Now you need to go outside and place the shoes on some newspaper or a flattened out cardboard box. This step isn’t crucial, I mean, eventually it will come off your driveway or grass ; )

Spray Time

Give your shoes a nice light coat of silicon spray, try to prevent drips as best as you can.

Wait 24 Hours

This allows the silicon spray to cure properly and will hold the second coat much better. Also, let your shoes cure in your garage where they are away from the elements.
