They do make dyes for Nylon. I would definitely take it to a fabric shop and consult with them. The problem with a golf bag is you have a lot of different fabrics and each of them could take the dye differently if at all so the black won't likely be a nice even tone.

In my experience, it holds up quite well to flexing but is a little more susceptible to gouging/scraping. It also holds up MUCH better if you do several (4/5/as many as you can stomach) very thin coats compared to 1 or 2 thicker coats. The pink might not be completely covered until the 3rd coat if you're doing it right.
