In college we used to have a tounament with my fraternity, it was normal golf but we used "beer handicaps" instead of your normal handicap. Its pretty simple you just play the round as normal, but at the end you get to deduct a stroke per beer you finished. You have to keep the can as proof.

why the comments on slowing down the pace of play? He's been a member here since 2008. I hardly doubt he unaware of the pace of play. a shot or a shot gunned beer would be about the amount of one practice shot and make no difference compared to the guys who bet all game long.
