Too much negativity when it comes to the wind should be more positive it's all about the competition not the wind. Overall still a pretty good game to play very exciting and entertaining.

The game is fun to start off but after a few days of progression it basically becomes who has more disposable income or who paid more to get their clubs. I had over a 85% win streak in regular play but in tournaments I'm lucky to win 1 hole because I have better things to spend my money on. Unless you have a few hundred dollars a month to spend move on to something else, I am. Good luck

That’s the difference, night and day. Golf Clash is a game that’s so good that I spend quite a bit of money on. This game, Golf rival, was an apparent rip of Golf Clash. It’s mixed with elements of Golf Clash, with a cartoonish feel the rest of the way thru. Very very poor graphics and it’s something I will open and play when I lose in Golf Clash, to remind myself that it’s just a game. Because this feels like a kids game, whereas Golf Clash, you tend to forget it’s a game, invoking emotions and feelings as if you’re physically playing a sport. This game, in time, with major changes, could be a decent game. Scrap the cartoon feel, lousy club designs, and no club at all has any ball guide whatsoever to it. Can’t even front spin or back spin a ball. Golf Clash allows both on a basic ball. But lacks sidespin, or power. If you’re gonna rip off Golf Clash guys, do a little better job. I’d never ever drop a dime on this game. Whereas people drop hundreds of dollars on packages regularly on Golf Clash.

Meanwhile they give you just a little worse wind so you cant make the necessary shot. Every once in a while you actually play a real player. Everything else is a computer generated player . Its ok until you reach stage 13 or 14. After that just delete the game.
Is Golf Rival a ripoff?
Golf Rival is a complete ripoff. The game is well done and the theming is excellent. The game algorithms pit you against players that are WAY too good for their ratings with game assisted “shot synchronization” that gives them an assist. It’s easy to win at first then it shortly becomes extremely difficult, especially if you’re not spending money on club or ball upgrades. The pattern is: you’ll win 2 or 3 matches, then end up pitted against opponents that “somehow” hit incredible, flawless shots including holing out from the fairway. These mystery godlike opponents cause you to lose several matches in a row. The only plausible explanation is cheating on the part of Golf Rival to motivate you to spend money. This leads me to think that many of the other players aren’t real people at all. I could be wrong, however the game structure and progression suggests opponents are designed to frustrate you into spending money or giving up. All-in-all a terrible experience and not worth the effort.
